Blackberry Vine Shadow


Yesterday evening's last rays of sun made the shadows of this trailing blackberry vine leaf stand out in stark relief to the pottery background. In fact, the whole scene is filled with random contrasts.

    Wow, Sissy! I agree--there is a feeling of rythm and movement through this photo. My eyes travel across the picture in a way that pleases my heart.

    Softness of line, harshness of shadow. It makes the green all the more brilliant against its pottery backdrop.
