Memories of Fall

I found this fall reflection several weeks ago amidst the wreck and ruin of the abandoned and vandalized mega-church across the street.

Finding beauty amidst chaos ... sort of like life, yes?

  1. I just gasped when I clicked on this photo for the larger version. Oh, Sissy--this is one of my favorites. How amazing! You have such an eye for the unusual and the exquisite.

Yes, beauty amidst chaos--just like life--it's knowing how and where to look.

This wonderful photo fills my eyes, Sissy. ((hugs))

  5. A great shot, in a sad sort of way.

Btw, I can't see Mt. Hood that largely from my house either, in fact, I can't see it at all due to the hill and trees behind our property (we have to drive 5 minutes up the road to actually see her). The photo was taken in Canby, and due to being taken at the highest setting of my digital, and with the help of my lens, I was able to get that shot.

  7. It's an interesting photo in its own right - but it has added depth when you consider it is a former mega-church.
