Graffiti on a mirror in a dark bathroom at the once-abandoned mega-church ... casts reflections and shadows at the same time ...
And is that a little shadow heart I see?
James over at "Newtown Area Photo" hosts the wonderful Weekend Reflections.
He has been such an inspiration to me - this meme has changed the way I see the world!
So ... when I found this graffiti, I thought of you, James!

Excellent reflections and the graffiti is so perfect!
ReplyDeleteSure, James rules ! Nice idea, Clytie :D
ReplyDeleteVery cool reflection and I love the graffiti! :) It's funny because when I was a kid I wrote on walls about four or five times and I wrote "James Rules" one or two of the times. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for the kind words!
Great reflections and love the graffiti!! How did they know!!! He's certainly helped me to see the world in a different way and I love it! Enjoy your weekend!

This was great fun. . . and so are your other places. (My verification word is SHARE -- so appropriate!)
ReplyDeleteGreat finds!
ReplyDeleteBoth very interesting! The mirror almost looks like a plant on the other side of a shade or something....Like it!

Great shadows and reflections in your first photo, but I love the "James Rules" graffiti... I wonder if that is the actual one that James wrote?!

Great finds! I love them both! Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteTerrific shot--so different and creative. You just have to be on the lookout for good shots all the time. You certainly found one. Mickie
ReplyDeleteI haven't found the heart, yet. Am I heartless?
ReplyDeleteThe great graffiti artist, Bansky is in Hollywood
because his film has been nominated for an Oscar.
Well, they think he's there but, of course, no one has seen him. Miraculously a Bansky graffiti has appeared in Oceanside (near where I live). It's about 2 hrs, away from Hollywood. I suppose it could be a fake, but if so it's a very good one. I'm off to see it now. I'll photograph it and put it on my blog. Barbara
Wonderful reflection, Clytie! I must come back and participate in your Random Hearts...:)

Sissy, these photos are just stunning. And especially the one with the shadows--that one especially fills my eyes.
