The silhouette on the left is a scuff mark in concrete. The silhouette on the right is a "hobo nickel". Of course the hat is a little different, and the image on the left is looking up.
As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.
Now that you mention it, I do see the resemblance!
ReplyDeleteVerrry cool I've never heard of or seen a hobo nickle before. I assume they are nickles carved by hobos in the thirties???
ReplyDeleteIt's a great match too.
I've never heard of a hobo nickel before!!! I have to say--there IS quite a resemblence! How cool is that?
ReplyDeleteYes, there's a definite resemblance. I've also never seen a hobo nickle before, very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! The one on the left looks like it's wearing one of those Scottish golf caps, or whatever they are.
ReplyDeleteVery nice nickel! Yes, the resemblance is pretty clear:)
