Don't Drive on the Runway ...

This is a very small airport in extremely rural Eastern Oregon.
If you go there, PLEASE do not drive on the runway.

You can, however, WALK on the runway!

This is one of my favorite sign photos ... not just because of the wonderful sign, but because this is my darling brother-in-law ... taken shortly after I first met him, around 30 years ago.

To see a bunch more fun signs, visit Lesley's "Signs, Signs" blog!

To see cool scanned stuff, visit Al's new meme "Sunday Scans"!

And, just in case that's not enough visitin', this photo is also my response to a fun challenge over at "Random Challenges".

  4. Pictures like this one are why I love this little meme so much. As I go through the posts each week, I always get a big grin on my old face.

  8. That's very funny Clytie!! I've been away from "home" (Oregon) for too long -- had to stop and think where Memaloose is.

  11. I collect postcards with pictures of signs and it looks like the "Signs, signs" blog is a good excuse to post them.

  13. Good thing they labelled that it was the runway, or I would have been sure it was a road!
