Too Many Locks - Flower Thief!

So the question is ...
How many locks does it take to secure the fence and gate to a Metro park?

(Answer: At least 8!)

Maybe the homeowner to the right of this shot should have secured their flower garden with 8 locks ... I watched as this man made off with a whole handful of blooms!

Flower Thief!!!
(Or ... is he just brave enough to do what we would ALL like to do sometimes???)

It's Friday's Fences time! Join us over at Jan and Jer's for the fun!

It's also time for Tina's PicStory's "Weekend Flowers"! Come see the gorgeous flowers people did NOT steal out of other peoples' gardens!

  2. LOL The first of locks is reather amazing--the second is kinda funny. Though I know, as a homeowner, how it feels to have my tomatoes and flowers taken by passers by. I don't want to plant 'em anymore. Shame on that fellow!

I laugh because I wonder if he knew his picture was being taken! LOL

  4. I remember being down at Seaside years ago, and watching someone walk by and steal flowers from a beautiful garden by the sidewalk. It obviously belonged to the house/property on that corner, but apparently someone thought it was a garden for everyone.

A couple of years later when we returned, there was a picket fence containing the flowers inside (for the most part). I guess the homeowner got tired of sharing. I know I would have.

Can a person actually steal flowers with other houses all around and expect to be invisible? It takes all kinds.

  6. I like the locks photo. I've seen this on land where there are several people allowed in - each has his own lock. That way there aren't lot of keys to one lock out in the world. It does rather look like over-kill though.

  8. Donna is correct. Any one of eight different people have access to whatever is o the other side of the gate.

  9. Such a fun post! The flower bandit is quite a catch! And those locks baffle me! All requiring a different key?
