Sanitary Sewer???

I did a double-take when I saw this sign ...

I mean, I was under the impression that most sewers were "unsanitary" by definition!

Or maybe the people of Sherwood are so perfect they ... well, you know what I'm gonna say ... it's right up there with "I NEVER fart and when I do it smells like roses", right?

And since it's Wednesday and all, I'm going to link this up with Lesley's "Signs, Signs"!

  7. There are sanitary sewers and there are rainwater sewers. Two different kinds of water, if you know what I mean. :) This is a funny sign though!

  11. Doesn't everyone know that sewers are unsanitary AND underground. signs, signs has made me look at all the signs around me differently. This was a good one.

  12. It's a politically correct statement. Where the pipe ends up used to called The Sewage Plant. Now it's called Water Pollution Control Plant. The politicians have created a new language.
