I found this old picture in amongst my old papers I was going through. I was in high school when my sister and I, and our very good friend Annette took a "ROAD TRIP" to central Oregon. We had so much fun!
We stopped at a small town in central Oregon, and found a tiny, privately owned rock garden, put together by the Peterson family of Redmond. I remember rock paths, rock fountains, rock bridges over ponds lined with rocks ... and teaming with huge goldfish and beautiful waterlilies.
Now look closely at the picture. Do you see something that is NOT a rock? Did you notice it at first? Quack! Quack!

He is camouflaged well, but I do see him!
ReplyDeleteI had to click on the photo to make it large in order to see the ducky. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteSissy! I remember that! This picture brought back so many good memories. Those were great days, weren't they?
ReplyDeletePeterson's Rock garden was in full swing back then--now-a-days it is a little neglected. But still quite spectactular even so.
I had to enlarge the picture to see the QuackQuack. What a riot. That duck looks like it
ReplyDeleteloves being mistaken for a rock. THE BEST!
