The Tree That Smiled

This morning as I waited for the big yellow monster (the one that comes every weekday morning, swallows my children then spits them out again in the afternoon!), I noticed a sparkle on a tree by the road -- the sunlight glinting off a bit of sap I suppose. Despite my efforts, the sparkling drop refused to transfer to my camera. I did, however, find this adorable smiley face of shadow and tree. I think today will be a good day.

If you don't mind I'm stealing this one to remind me too.

  3. “To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common - this is my symphony. 4. It IS a smiley tree, and I DO see the sparkle! The sun is out, the birds are singing, and the kids seem happy.

Indeed, in the words of Warf, TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO BE ALIVE!!!

    I love you, Sissy. ((hugs))
