Frosty Beauty

The frost touched just the edges of this holly tree, tipping the beautiful evergreen leaves a bright white.

And made this dried blackberry vine glow in the sun.

It coated the leaves of the evergreen blackberry leaves

And gave this spider's home a jeweled surprise!

The Queen Anne's Lace lived up to its name ...

  1. Oh, Sissy--not just the photos--which totally fill my eyes--but your whimsical narration captures my imagination!

  2. Spectacular shots Clytie! You have such a good eye.

  3. It was a frosty morning wasn't it?

I was out on my hands and knees at 9 am taking pictures. lol

Love the shot of the holly.

  4. Frost and light makes the ordinary extraordinary...kinda like you my friend.

  5. I love the spider web in between the various fungi. Love fungi ... and moss ... and lichen ... and decay in general, whether of the natural world or the built environment.
