As the snow melted, the sun came out.
Nature's Jewels were here!
I caught this beautiful amber gem
Nestled in a fir branch.
(To see it clearly, click on the picture to enlarge)I captured these diamond-coated Hawthorne berries
Up close and personal!!!
Even the pine tree dripped with beauty.
I wish I could capture these jewels for real -
I would wear them to a party!
For the New Year!
I guess it's just as well, since I am staying home and celebrating quietly ...
Perhaps in my sleep ... I can dream of
Nature's Jewels.
Isn't God just the best maker of all things...his creations so outshine the bumbling hand of man. Beautiful pictures Sissy dear.
ReplyDeleteI too am looking forward to this newness, I am hoping to find something I lost along the way. With friends like you I can't miss.
May this New Year be filled with many blessings for you and yours. Love you, Deann
Wow--those are gorgeous alright--but I think that first one is really a faery....
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to catch a faery in the wilds and I'm just sure that's what you did!
Fills my eyes, sweet Sissy--these fill my eyes.
Yeah, wouldn't it be cool if you could wear a real rain drop as a pendant on a necklace?
ReplyDeleteHappy New year, Clytie - happy that I got to know you this year:)
Beautiful pictures, very peaceful. Have a happy new year.
