Rainy Night in the Car ...

The rain started noonish yesterday. By the time the 10 o'clock news came on, we had gotten nearly an inch of the wet stuff. Of course we're used to it, we have all kinds of silly things we say

... Oregonians don't tan, we rust.
... It's not rain, it's liquid sunshine.
... You can tell we're from Oregon by the webs between our toes.

And more.

Makes it hard to take pictures, though, without a waterproof camera.

But I like the way the raindrops on the windshield reflect the lights in the parking lot. Kind of pretty.

  1. Yep, it is no wonder we actually have a football team here named the "Ducks!"

It is pretty, Sissy--I like the way the lights are gleaming and sparkling through the raindrops...

  2. I have seen the Ducks playing football this last season and they were pretty good at it too.

Where you live sounds like a kind f Nautal paradise to me.

  3. That is pretty, and very wet. We'd never get rain this time of year, just snow. And in the summer, when it rains, it comes in very intense but brief thunderstorms before it clears up again.

  4. Still, I love the rain. It lulls me to sleep and fills my mind with daydreams.
