Pink and Yellow Columbine

A beautiful columbine stands supreme in our late spring garden - pink with a yellow heart. They are tall this year -- and breathtaking!

The abandoned church yielded this paintball artist's rendition of what appears to be the same pink and yellow columbine :=}. Also breathtaking in its own way, don't you think?

  1. Columbine is great, isn't it? Not only is it perennial, it seeds itself all over and gives you more plants every year!

  2. Oh, my goodness, you are absolutely right! How funny! And spectacular! They just fill my eyes.

It's the oddest thing, I was just out and about today, and discovered I have purple, pink and orangish yellowish columbine in my garden. I had purple last year, but where did the other colors come from???

    Kewl!

  3. Uh, sissie-kins, I think I might have accidentally-on-purpose kinda gathered some random seeds from the ones here and, uh, kinda scattered them around your place last year. I hope you don't mind?

  4. I love these pictures in sequence they look like the Columbine has broken free and escaped through the window leaving a few traces behind. Excellent!
