Remarkable! I got sidetracked for quite awhile looking up info on the serviceberry shrub! Strange that I haven't heard of it before. I like the way the ferns are unwinding in the first photo.
As life changes, I find myself far from what my dreams had imagined. Reality has found me caring for my elderly mom who is sliding deeper into Alzheimers ... every day has become a unique challenge. The best I can do is to try to life as normal as possible for those around me.
Oh, Sissy--these photos are truly exquisite. They are. And they fill my eyes. wow.

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of them before either and I visit my sister in Oregon a lot. Are they like blackberries?
ReplyDeleteThey are more like wild plums! The Native Americans around here used to smash them up with dried meat to make pemmican.
